About the workshop:
Learn about the history of soft sculpture, beginning with the artist Jann Haworth in the 1960s, and then embark on creating a sculptural work based on your own experiences and personal iconography. Bring sketches or photos of your favorite objects, and we will design and create sculptures together. No previous sewing experience is required.
Audience: This workshop is suitable for ages 16+.
What to bring: All materials will be provided, but if you have a favorite fabric, preferred sewing needles, or cool thread, feel free to bring those, too.
Cost: The workshop is free, but a suggested donation is appreciated!
Registration: Registration is required and will close 24 hours before the workshop begins.
