About the workshop: 

This workshop centers on the practices of making and writing that originated in the Dada movement and connects the movement's historical significance to what community-based art is/can be today. Participants will get an overview of Dada art and writing principles and values as inspiration for creating poetry and/or visual art compositions in a new way. Participants will leave this workshop with new skills and their creations. This workshop is family-friendly and has all the supplies provided.  

Audience: This workshop is suitable for ages 10+. 

What to bring: All materials will be provided.

About the Artist:  

Linnea Fitterer (she/her) is an artist, arts administrator, and educator with a focus on socially engaged art and community practice.

Fitterer currently lives and works in the Greater Cincinnati, Ohio region, where she serves as the Director of the Office of Engagement and Adjunct Professor at Art Academy of Cincinnati.
