About the workshop

Experiment with cooking with edible insects! Participants will use their taste buds and creativity to concoct delicious and bizarre combinations of creepy crawlies with conventional cuisine. We will explore edible bugs' ecological and health benefits while reveling in childlike novelty and open-mindedness. Please note that folks with shellfish allergies should not ingest insects.

Audience: This workshop is suitable for ages 16+. 

What to bring: Everything you need will be provided!

Cost: The workshop is free, but a suggested donation is appreciated! 

Registration: Registration is required and will close 24 hours before the workshop begins.

About the Artist:  

Samuel Ezra Fisch is an artist focused on participatory events that bring people together and inspire childlike wonder through novelty. Fisch creates games, events, and situations for audience participation. Fisch has exhibited in Marin MOCA, Brattleboro Museum, Invisible Dog Art Center, LBIF, Chicago Sculpture Exhibit, Public Sculpture Project, and ChaShaMa Gala.
