Meet the artist:
Sage Friss is a Missoula-based artist with a focus on surrealism. He grew up in the mountains of Colorado and Montana and has always enjoyed interacting with nature. Their work portrays animals in a variety of imagined realities. Their most widely known pieces feature giant-sized house cats destroying cities and buildings. Sage is continually expanding their subject matter, and the sense of realism and wonder in their practice.
