Dani Galietti is an Italian-American Interdisciplinary Artist currently based in New Jersey. Dani is an E-RYT500 Yoga Instructor and trained as a former competitive USFSA Figure Skater. Her background in ballet, contact improvisation, 5Rhythms, and figure modeling inform her current lexicon of movements. In the last six months, she has been working alongside collaborator and partner Matthew Runciman.
Matthew Runciman is a Canadian troubadour, musician, and songwriter based in the United States and interested in the Americana narrative. In 2015 Matt formed a three-piece folk/Americana band "The Coteries". Based out of Fort Collins they spent three years in a 1990 VW Vanagon touring through 45 different states across mainland USA. He has been working with Open Tuning in 432hz inspired by the natural frequency of the universe, the solfeggio frequency.
Together, as the Bull and Arrow, they have exhibited and performed internationally while Artists in Residence with Listhus Artspace (Ólafsfjörður, Iceland), NES (Skagaströnd, Iceland), and the Chateau D' Orquevaux (France). The Bull and Arrow were Featured in "NJ STAGE" magazine's July 2019 edition, and are included in the Art Collection of the local municipality in Ólafsfjörður, Iceland.
The Bull and Arrow plan to continue their interdisciplinary works centered around the translation of their art forms as their "first languages" through performance, installation, and visual arts.
